Infrastructure and platform leader, always hands-on: hybrid cloud, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, developer experience. I build these functions from scratch, or take them over and rebuild them. Cloud posture and guardrails, plus some ISO 27001, SOC 2, and TISAX. Lately the infrastructure that decides what AI agents are allowed to reach.
EXPERIENCE
superluminar GmbH | Principal Consultant
Advise leadership at client organisations, typically 100-500 people, on cloud strategy, org design, processes, and budgeting - primarily AWS, strategy through implementation. Also drive compliance and internal organisational development at superluminar.
-Auto Fleet Control (fleet software): the hybrid platform - AWS in CDK across accounts with a Transit Gateway hub, RAM sharing, VPN, and OIDC deploys from GitHub Actions, plus the on-prem side in Ansible and Portainer. Designed their per-PR preview environments.
-MOIA (mobility): embedded as Senior Security Engineer. Moved cloud security posture from Cloud Custodian to Wiz across 100+ AWS accounts in 6 months, with custom Python auto-remediating 1000+ findings, then rolled the same setup out to Volkswagen ADMT in 3-4 weeks. Three of us, all Terraform.
-Scoped TISAX for superluminar - guardrails, processes, controls - and took it through assessment.
-Hands-on with Bedrock AgentCore, and in the architecture discussions around superluminar's agent platform.
Schlütersche (via superluminar) | Interim Head of DevOps and Operations
Media group. Led an 8-person DevOps and Operations team and stood up the AWS foundation: landing zone, guardrails, and networking across 10+ accounts. Multi-million-euro budget.
-Helped restructure the wider 20-person organisation - new teams, clearer ownership, and the processes to match.
superluminar GmbH | Senior Consultant
Led client landing-zone, networking, and migration work - technical direction and delivery as much as implementation. CDK and TypeScript throughout.
-Migrated 20+ legacy workloads onto AWS single-handedly with no downtime, including a 30-year-old Java desktop application moved off VMware onto AWS WorkSpaces.
-MOIA: built the proof of concept for a serverless, event-driven cabin video-stream platform for self-driving vehicles on the AWS Chime SDK, now running in production. Included end-to-end testing on the embedded side.
Airtame ApS | Director of Infrastructure
Owned SRE, IT, and Security - the team, roadmap, and budget.
Management
-Established the IT and Security functions from scratch: hired 5 across IT (2), Security (2), and SRE (1), and led a team of 7.
-Ran risk-based projects - endpoint and vendor management - and rolled out SDLC and JML processes against ISO 27001 and SOC 2 requirements, as part of a cross-team strategy.
-Annual budget responsibility of several million DKK across cloud, SaaS, and hardware.
Technical
-Built a cost-effective hybrid-cloud platform on ECS Anywhere with the team - Docker first, QEMU/KVM second, on Amazon and Rocky Linux (public/private cloud).
-GitLab pipelines building cross-platform machine images with Packer, Ansible, and PowerShell, tested with Goss and Python - Linux, Windows, and macOS as both AMIs and QEMU/KVM VMs.
-GitLab pipelines deploying to ECR/ECS; improved developer-owned Docker build and test pipelines.
-Python Lambdas and ECS services for ETL, with data plumbing in PostgreSQL.
-Reached full infrastructure-as-code coverage in Terraform, as a team.
Airtame ApS | Lead Infrastructure Engineer
Infrastructure lead.
-Cut CDN costs 10x and pushed uptime past 99.99% by switching providers and rewriting the tooling and public-facing code for our release infrastructure. OpenResty, S3, BunnyCDN perma-cache.
-Took airtame.cloud past 99.99% uptime by moving from Docker Swarm to AWS ECS - multi-AZ redundancy, separated environments, and better monitoring, logging, and tracing. Docker, Terraform, Go, Grafana/Prometheus, Icinga, ELK, X-Ray; EC2, ECS, S3, RDS, ElastiCache.
-Improved developer productivity by moving from Jenkins to GitLab, writing tooling, and optimising CI/CD. YAML, Python, Bash.
Also: access management and a revamp of the network and data infrastructure. Moved offices three times, servers finally into a data centre. OIDC, SAML, WireGuard, IPSec, PostgreSQL, Ganeti, among others.

-Airtame - Junior Infrastructure Engineer (2017-2019): infrastructure as code (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet), monitoring, logging, and Docker with Swarm and Consul.
-Trustpilot - IT Student Assistant (2015-2017): helpdesk, then automated Windows provisioning with MDT and WDS.
-Bilfinger Greylogix - Project Assistant (2012-2014): ran the Typo3/MySQL backend for an e.on combined-heat-and-power smart-meter pilot; documentation and QA.
